ORIGINAL: Talladega police searching for missing 80-year-old man
TALLADEGA, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Talladega Police Department is searching for a missing 80-year-old man.
According to Talladega police, Larry Olan Sims left his Talladega residence between 8:15-8:30 a.m. Sunday. He departed driving a white 2014 Ford F-150 4x4 with black rims. The pickup truck has Alabama tag #61A698R. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a Missing and Endangered Person Alert for Sims.
The ALEA stated Sims is 5-foot-11, weighs about 209 pounds and has green eyes and white hair. Talladega police stated Sims is diagnosed with dementia and do not know his whereabouts. Those who see Sims or the pickup truck are urged to call Talladega police at 256-362-4163 or 911.
