BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 24-year-old Center Point man is charged with murder following a deadly shooting in May.
On May 7, 33-year-old Carlos Seawright was found shot to death in the front yard of a home on the 6800 block of 1st Avenue South. Birmingham Police said Seawright was discovered by a passing driver who called in the death.
Detectives obtained a murder warrant for Na'Derious Jackson, of Center Point, in Seawright's death in July. On August 12, detectives arrested Jackson and placed him in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
