Associated Press releases preseason college football top 25

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Associated Press released their preseason top 25 rankings as the college football season kicks off August 24.

Georgia begins the season No. 1 in the country as they bring back quarterback Carson Beck and a veteran team poised to make a run for another national championship. The Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked No. 5 and the Kalen DeBoer era officially begins Aug. 31 against Western Kentucky.
