Monday: Some high clouds will drift in throughout our Monday, but we will remain dry. The more comfortable air will start to slowly mix out of here heading into the evening hours as skies stay mostly sunny.
Looking Ahead: The muggy air really makes a return by Tuesday which is when temperatures are also expected to max out this week in the middle 90s. A ridge of high pressure centered to our southwest will flex just enough to increase temperatures for the first couple days this week before backing off to the west. This occurs by midweek which introduces daily hit/miss afternoon storms that we are typically used to here during the Summer months.
These will post a small chance of rain from Wednesday through Saturday, with Friday potentially being one of our days with more widespread storm coverage. Too far out to give any details but just be sure to have the umbrella handy these days. Temperatures will stay steady in the lower half of the 90s through the rest of this week and heading into next weekend.
Tracking the Tropics: Potential Tropical Cyclone Five has formed in the central Atlantic, expected to strengthen some as it heads toward the Lesser Antilles. Forecast guidance is keeping this system out to sea, so this will pose no threat to the mainland United States.
