HELENA, Ala. (WIAT) -- At 17 years old, Helena High School senior Carley Seabrooke holds two national records in rifle shooting. She has also competed in the past three Junior Olympics.
"My dad wanted me to learn rifle safety, so I went and attended classes with him to learn how to shoot a rifle, and I've never left the sport since then. I started shooting when I was 10 years old, and I'm going to be 18 in a few months," Seabrooke said.
The first Junior Olympics that Seabrooke attended was in 2021.
"I realized that I was shooting as good as some of the college students were, and I was like, I could be really good in this sport," Seabrooke said.
