OXFORD, Ala. (WIAT) — A popular Calhoun County bagel bakery and café is in the process of moving shop south.

Music City Bagels announced plans to move to 101 Hamric Drive in Oxford from their current space in Anniston. The new location will serve its “baked from scratch” bagels, a full line of coffees and espressos as well as new desserts.

Owner Aldo Stassi was born in Italy and retired to Nashville before relocating to Calhoun County. He then utilized his family’s recipes to open Music City Bagels in 2021.

“We are thrilled to be opening Music City Bagels in Oxford, a city that fosters the kind of
environment where businesses can truly grow and thrive,” Stassi said. “We look forward to
serving the community and becoming an integral part of this vibrant local business landscape.”

Work is expected to be completed by January 2025, featuring 12 staff members with eight on full-time status.
