BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Miles College will host a registration day for its incoming student body on August 13.
The event will take place in front of the Student Activity Center. Organizers hope to reach unregistered scholars and community members ahead of the upcoming election season.
Founded in 1898, Miles College is the only four-year institution in Birmingham designated as a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). The event will take place on August 13 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
