TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- A three-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday afternoon left one person dead.
Sheree Kelly, 69, of Duncanville, died from injuries sustained in a crash in the 6900 block of University Boulevard East. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three vehicles were in the eastbound lanes of University Boulevard East Saturday around 4:10 p.m. A Honda Accord was stopped at the intersection with Hurricane Road and waiting to turn left, when Kelly struck the rear of their vehicle, according to Tuscaloosa police.
The driver behind Kelly was unable to stop and struck the rear of her vehicle. The driver and a passenger of the Honda Accord were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center. TPD will continue to investigate.
