SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Alabama Department of Transportation announced a planned moving lane closure operation on I-65 in Shelby County starting at 8 p.m. Monday.
The operation is for permanent striping installation from mileposts 225.948 through 237.530. Either the inside or outside lanes of I-65 northbound or southbound will be closed during the installation. All lanes are expected to reopen by around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The ALDOT stated the same lane closures will possibly occur from 8 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Friday.
