HUEYTOWN, Ala. (WIAT) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that left two people injured at the River Square Plaza on Feb. 4.
A 16-year-old juvenile, from Bessemer, was taken into custody on Feb. 12 after officers say they traveled to Gadsden in an attempt to locate the individual. The suspect is reportedly connected to a shooting that left two men injured at the River Square Plaza.
On Feb. 14, detectives obtained felony warrants on the juvenile including two counts of attempted murder. Hueytown police say they believe more suspects are involved and more arrests are possible.
The juvenile suspect was transported to the Hueytown City Jail.
