TALLADEGA, Ala. (WIAT) -- The City of Talladega announced that a warming station will be open on days that the National Weather Service forecasts that temperatures will drop to 32 degrees or below.
The warming station is located at the Spring Street Recreation Center at 502 Spring Street S.
Those in need of the warming station are encouraged to get there before 10 p.m. to ensure that the center is adequately staffed. Those arriving after 10 p.m. must call the Talladega Police Department or the Talladega Fire Department before arriving.
