TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- Warming stations will be open in Tuscaloosa County through Monday, Jan. 13.
According to Tuscaloosa County EMA, these warming stations, provided by the Compassion Coalition, serve as temporary shelters for those in need during cold weather.
Anyone in need of a warming shelter is encouraged to call 205-710-6766 and provide an operator with their name, a callback number, their current location in Tuscaloosa County and the number of people in need of shelter.
