BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A single-vehicle crash in Bibb County left two people dead Tuesday afternoon.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jedarius Chancey, 31, of Huntsville was injured when the Lexus he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and then a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Jasmine McGary, 27, of Selma, who was a passenger in the vehicle was also pronounced dead at the scene. Two children were injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred around 2:52 p.m. on Alabama 139 near the six mile marker. No other information else is available as ALEA continues to investigate.
