BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Jimmie Hale Mission will extend its hours Monday as the weather cools down to dangerous levels in Birmingham.
The group announced it would be extending its shelter hours to 7 p.m. Monday in the days leading up to Christmas. Temperatures are predicted to drop into the low 30s Monday night.
The shelter will also continuing offering its free shuttle during that time, as well as hot meals and a place to stay out of the cold.
