TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- Tuscaloosa police made an arrest after an 18-year-old girl was killed in a shooting Monday.
According to Capt. Jack Kennedy, officers were called to the 600 block of East 35th Avenue around 1 p.m. Monday. Cameron Thompson was found shot to death.
A suspect under the age of 18 was arrested and will be charged as an adult. Due to the age of the suspect, no further information has been released on their identity.
Authorities report that the motive appears to be related to comments the victim allegedly posted on social media.
