VANCE, Ala. (WIAT) -- Two people were arrested on human trafficking charges in Vance Friday.
Vance assistant police chief said those arrested were involved in a human smuggling operation to help get people from Mexico to the U.S. Once they helped people get here, they would steal their documentation and they were unable to leave.
Officers believe there are more victims and that additional individuals are involved in the operation. Anyone with more information is asked to call 205-553-8278.
