Tuesday: The rain is already moving out before sunrise this morning. Expect some patchy fog and low clouds to start the day. Then it will become sunny in the afternoon with cooler high temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Wednesday: An area of high pressure will move across the state on Wednesday, warming us up with a partly cloudy sky and high temperatures climbing into the upper 60s.

Wed Night - Thanksgiving: A cold front will move into Alabama Wednesday night and continue into Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. There is still a disagreement among the models regarding the timing of the front. If the front moves through earlier, we will get rain/storms ending on Thanksgiving morning. If it is a slower front, we will have rain/storms throughout Thursday. Additionally, there will be a chance for strong to possibly severe storms with gusty winds and hail from 10 PM Wednesday to 10 AM Thursday.

We will have to watch to see how this plays out the next few days. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 60s.

Black Friday: It will turn MUCH cooler on Black Friday with a breezy. Expect plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 40s. Friday night will be clear and cold with lows in the upper 20s.
Weekend Outlook: A reinforcing shot of colder air will arrive this weekend. Saturday will be sunny and very chilly with highs in the upper 40s. More cold air arrives Friday night with lows back down into the 20s for Central Alabama. It will be chilly and dry for the Iron Bowl this year.
