TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force charged five men with soliciting prostitution after an investigation was conducted.
According to law enforcement, the five suspects responded to commercial sex ads posted online and arranged to meet and pay a woman for sex. The following men were arrested after arriving to the location on Friday or Saturday and allegedly giving money to an undercover officer:
- David Tillet, 49, of Tuscaloosa
- John Godfrey III, 40 , of Cottondale
- Christopher Hinkle, 56, of Camp Hill
- Joshua Samuel, 29, of Tuscalosoa
- Lawrence Stephens, 43, of Tuscaloosa
All of the suspects are charged with soliciting prostitution. They were taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail and had their bonds set at $300 each.
