Tracking the Tropics: Invest 97 is expected to develop and become better organized this week as it tracks north. At this point, it is too early to determine exact intensity and track, but forecast models are suggesting a track into The Gulf of Mexico, potentially sending moisture in our direction by next weekend. Forecast confidence will increase as the system develops, so check back for updates over the coming days.
