BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The seventh annual Magic City Mac and Cheese Festival is planned for Sunday, bringing locals together over different recipes of the comfort food.
Organized by the Community Grief Support's Junior Board, the festival will be held at Back Forty Beer Company from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event features a friendly competition between cooks, live music, games and fun for families.
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here for $20 but are $25 on site. Children under five earn free admission, while those ages 6-12 require a $10 ticket.
All proceeds made during the event fund the CGS's educational programs and services. Over the years, attendees participating in the festival have raised over $180,000.
