BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The 19th annual Barber Vintage Festival starts Friday.
It's the largest vintage motorcycle gathering in the country. Around 20,000-25,000 bikes are expected over the three-day event. Organizers said the family-friendly outing will feature motorcycle races, children's activities, stunt shows and a beer garden.
"There will be from old bikes to new bikes, and so that becomes a show in itself," said Zoom Motorsports President George Dennis. "We track people from all over the country, six countries, buy tickets for this event. So with a lot of people coming into our city this weekend and spend time with us. So it's a big economic driver for this region."
The fest runs through Sunday. All visitors 15 and under can enjoy the experience for free. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
