Weekend Outlook: The remnants of Helene will remain stalled over TN and KY on Saturday. We will be mostly cloudy, and still breezy with a few showers wrapping around the center of Helene across Central Alabama. It will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s.
Sunday will still be mostly cloudy with a stray shower or two. It will be warmer with highs in the lower 80s.
Football Forecasts: The weather will be cloudy with a chance for a shower for the UAB game vs. Navy at 11 AM. Temperatures will be in the 70s. The 2:45 PM Auburn home game vs. Oklahoma will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a stray shower possible. Temps. will be in the 70s. Lastly, the Alabama vs. Georgia game at 6:30 PM in Tuscaloosa will be mostly cloudy with a few showers possible and temps. fall into the 60s.
Next Week Outlook: We will still have lingering clouds on Monday, but the sunshine returns on Tuesday. Highs will be in the 80s each day. A cold front will try to move across Alabama on Wednesday, and it should be dry. We will be sunny Wednesday through Friday with warm highs in the 80s but expect cool nights with lows in the 50s. We will have to watch next week for a possible tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico. It is too early to stay where it could track and how strong it could become.
