CLAY COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- Deputies with the Clay County Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting Thursday.
According to the sheriff's office, the shooting happened sometime Thursday morning on County Road 40.
In a Facebook post, the sheriff's office stated there is no active threat to the public and more details will be released at a later time.
