BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The city of Birmingham is inviting community members to provide feedback on a citywide rezoning initiative.
The significant rezoning efforts are part of a comprehensive plan for the city aimed to promote revitalization and growth. The rezoning is focused on creating districts that are transit-friendly, walkable and increase quality of life, according to a news release from the city.
In total, there will be four meetings open to the public to review the proposed changes and provide feedback. A full listing of those meetings and the neighborhoods addressed during each one can be found below:
EASTERN AREA MEETING
