TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer is preparing for his first game leading the Crimson Tide as Western Kentucky comes to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
DeBoer was named head coach of the program after Nick Saban, who won six national championships in 17 seasons at Alabama, retired back in January. The South Dakota native was Washington's head coach from 2022-23 and took the Huskies to the 2024 national championship game.
DeBoer sat down with CBS 42 analyst Scott Griffin and AL.com sports columnist Kevin Scarbinsky for an exclusive interview to discuss the new era of Alabama football and succeeding Saban.
