NORTHPORT, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 40-year-old man is charged with animal cruelty after six dogs were found dead at a home in Northport earlier this month.
On August 7, Northport officers found the dogs dead at a home on the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd around 12:38 p.m. Following an investigation, Letitus Demond Gay was charged with three counts of 1st degree animal cruelty on August 26.
Gay was arrested and placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with $7,500 bond.
