BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Hueytown man killed in a crash just before noon Saturday was identified Monday morning.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office stated 53-year-old Michael Lee McLaughlin was fatally injured when the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed on Toadvine Road in Bessemer.
McLaughlin was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 12:28 p.m.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding McLaughlin's death.
