Motorcyclist killed in Tuscaloosa crash

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 41-year-old Tuscaloosa man died after losing control of a motorcycle on Saturday, according to the Tuscaloosa Police Department.

The driver of the motorcycle was traveling west in the 3000 block of 20th Street around 6:27 p.m. TPD says it appears he lost control of the motorcycle and fell before sliding beneath a parked, unoccupied tow truck. The unoccupied motorcycle then struck an unoccupied parked car.

Paramedics arrived, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

TPD's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. The name of the victim has not been released.
