JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A five-vehicle crash caused all lanes near the 119 mile marker of I-59 South to close Saturday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash happened around 4:01 a.m., and ALEA Highway Patrol Division troopers are investigating the crash. ALEA Senior Trooper Gregory Corble stated around 8:37 a.m. the two far southbound lanes re-opened, though the two exit lanes were still blocked. Corble announced around 8:48 a.m. that all lanes were back open.
