TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 23-year-old student from the University of Alabama was arrested on July 25 on several rape charges.

According to Capt. Jack Kennedy, a female reported that she met an acquaintance at a local bar. She woke up the following morning with no memory of the night before. Investigators obtained photo and video evidence that revealed the victim was sexually assaulted while unconscious.

Gambill Gentry was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and multiple counts of first-degree voyeurism. Gentry was taken to jail and is being held with no bond under Aniah's Law.

Both were students at the University of Alabama, but Gentry has now been banned from campus. Evidence recovered during the investigation into the suspect leads investigators to believe that there may be other victims unknown to law enforcement.

Anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Gentry's can reach the Tuscaloosa County Violent Crimes Unit at 205-464-8690.
