CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Birmingham man is now in custody in connection to a homicide from earlier this week, the Cullman County Sheriff's Office reports.
Jamarion Allen Harrison, 20, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in the Birmingham area on Wednesday.
On Monday, the CCSO stated deputies responded to a shooting in the Vinemont area. Detectives believe a confrontation occurred between Harrison and the victim, who was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Harrison left the scene before deputies arrived.
The CCSO stated with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the potential murder weapon in the case was found.
