Unseasonably warm Wednesday, Slightly cooler to end the work week

Tonight: mostly clear and chilly with patchy fog. Lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Wednesday will be a pleasant spring-like day as high pressure sits east of Alabama bringing in warmer southerly winds. Expect plenty of sunshine with high temperatures in the middle 70s.

A cold front will move across the state on Thursday. There will be a few showers, but most of you will be dry. It will turn cooler with high temperatures in the middle 60s. Thursday night will be colder with lows in the middle to upper 30s.

On Friday, high pressure will be to the west of Alabama, bringing cooler northerly winds. The day will be beautiful, with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the middle 60s.

Weekend Outlook: The area of high pressure will build across the Southeast U.S. We will have lovely weather with more sunshine and highs in the lower 70s on Saturday. A weak and dry cold front will move across Alabama on Sunday with a few clouds and high temperatures in the middle 60s.
