Tonight: partly cloudy and chilly with patchy fog. Lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.


Tuesday will be a pretty and mild day as high pressure moves to the east of Alabama with southerly winds. It will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s.

Wednesday will be another pleasant day as high pressure remains east of Alabama. The southerly winds will make it spring-like and warmer with a mostly sunny sky. High temperatures will climb into the lower to middle 70s. How nice does that sound?

A cold front will move across the state on Thursday. There will be spotty showers, and it will turn cooler. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s. This is what we should have for highs this time of year. Thursday night will be colder with lows in the middle to upper 30s.

On Friday, high pressure will be to the west of Alabama, bringing cooler northerly winds. The day will be beautiful, with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the lower 60s.

Weekend Outlook: The area of high pressure will build across the Southeast U.S. We will have lovely weather with more sunshine and highs in the middle to upper 60s each day. A dry cold front will move across Alabama on Sunday night with chilly temperatures in the 30s on Monday morning.
