DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Department of Corrections is asking for help locating two men who escaped from their assigned jobs in Decatur on Friday.
ADOC is asking for help in finding 62-year-old Randall Sparks and 51-year-old Louis Pattillo. Sparks is serving a 20-year sentence for third-degree burglary in Russell County and Pattillo is serving a 20-year sentence for possession of a controlled substance in Etowah County.
Both men escaped from the North Alabama Community Based Facility/Community Work Center in Decatur on Friday.
Sparks reportedly escaped around 1 a.m. and Pattillo escaped at 7:25 p.m.
ADOC says that Pattillo is about 6 feet tall and around 180 pounds. His hair is reportedly brown and he has blue eyes. The corrections facility says he left his job site in a Red 1996 GMC Sonoma with a silver toolbox.
Sparks is about 5'11" and around 150 pounds. ADOC says he has brown hair and brown eyes.
Both men report to Lieutenant Nathaniel Odell.
