BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Big Time Rush has announced their "In Real Life Worldwide Tour," which kicks off at Birmingham's Coca-Cola Amphitheater on July 9.
Big Time Rush first rose to fame in 2009 due to a Nickelodeon television series by the same name, in which the band members starred as fictional versions of themselves. The series ran for four seasons before coming to an end in 2013.
Each show in the tour will feature every song from every episode of the "Big Time Rush" series, some of which the band says have never been played live before. Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman, who starred on the show as the characters Jo and Gustavo, will be joining the band as support throughout the tour.
According to the band's announcement on Instagram, Big Time Rush Fan Club members are eligible for a presale for tickets and VIP upgrades on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The general sale will start on Feb. 28. Tickets will be available for purchase on the Big Time Rush website.
