BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Two are dead following a shooting that occurred in Birmingham Thursday night, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
Just after 7:30 p.m., east precinct officers received a call of shots fired in the 4900 block of 41st St. N. Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male victim and an adult female victim unresponsive in a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The vehicle was in a driveway, and a door to the vehicle was open.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced both victims deceased.
No one is in custody at this time.
