Groundhog Day Weekend Outlook: High pressure will build across the Southeast U.S. all weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the middle 60s. This is great weather to head down to the World of Wheels at the BJCC.

Groundhog Day, Sunday will be gorgeous with plenty of sunshine. Expect warmer high temperatures around 70°. Lows will be in the 40s each night. Hopefully, Phil does not see his shadow on Sunday morning in Punxsutawney, PA!

Next Week's Outlook: Zonal flow aloft will make it spring-like next week with dry weather and unseasonably warm temperatures on Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the 70s. A cold front will stall just north of Alabama mid-week allowing for upper-level waves to move across the Southeast U.S. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy and mild with a chance for showers. Highs will be in the 70s. A cold front will move across Alabama on Friday setting off a few showers. It will be a little cooler with highs in the 60s.
