Chilly This Weekend, Milder With Rain Next Week

Tonight: a weak cold front will move into Alabama and fall apart. It will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and cold with lows in the teens and 20s.

Tomorrow: On Friday, the weak cold front will fall apart over Central Alabama. Expect a few clouds and possibly a snow flurry across northern Alabama. High temperatures will be in the lower 40s.

Weekend Outlook: A warming trend is forecast this weekend ahead of an upper-level wave and another cold front with southerly winds. Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s.

The cold front will move into Alabama on Sunday with a few late-day showers that will become widespread Sunday night. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s. Sunday night will have lows in the upper 30s, so no wintry precipitation is expected.

Next Week's Outlook: Milder temperatures are expected throughout the week. Monday will have morning rain and become partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the 50s. Wednesday through Friday will be unsettled with a chance for rain each day. High temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s.
