HAMILTON, Ala. (WIAT) -- The search for a missing 39-year-old Hamilton woman continues in Marion County Thursday.

Hamilton police say Chasity Terry was last seen on video surveillance walking out of a Love’s gas station store with an acquaintance early Friday morning.

According to Lt. Trey Webb with the Hamilton Police Department, there is a grid search being conducted on foot Thursday morning with police officers, sheriff's deputies, and fire fighters from surrounding volunteer fire departments, as well as full-time fire fighters. This effort is being organized by the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

CBS 42 News also called the DA’s office and learned that District Attorney Scott Slatton is also helping with the search off of Exit 22 in Marion County.

The last person Chasity Terry was seen with on surveillance video, Charles Williams Junior, is now considered a person of interest in her disappearance, according to sheriff Kevin Williams.
