WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A single-vehicle crash that occurred in Walker County left a Jasper man dead Thursday morning.
Jeffery Johnson, 61, was injured when the Mercury Villager Wagon he was driving left the roadway, struck a raised berm and overturned, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Johnson was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred around 7 a.m. on Alabama 5 near the 166 mile marker. Nothing else is available as ALEA continues to investigate.
