ONEONTA, Ala. (WIAT) -- Two men were charged with human trafficking and other crimes in Blount County over the past week.
According to the Blount County Sheriff's Office, Stanley Ambeyi and Joshua Simpson are charged with human trafficking, electronic solicitation and traveling to meet a child to perform a sexual act.
Ambeyi, a 38-year-old from Irondale, was booked into the county jail Thursday and released Tuesday. Simpson, a Jacksonville resident who is 31, was booked Friday and released Tuesday.
Though Ambeyi and Simpson are facing the same charges, the BCSO did not state if there is a connection between the two men.
