CHILTON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Jemison man is charged with murder in connection with a shooting in Chilton County.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. on December 23, according to Chilton County Sheriff John Shearon. Deputies responded to an area in the northern end of the county where they discovered a woman dead from a gunshot wound.
Deputies arrested Taylor Heaton in connection with the shooting and booked him into the Chilton County Jail.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
