
Monday: A pleasant day with plenty of sunshine as high pressure sits northeast of Alabama. This will send a dry and cool wedge of air into Alabama from the east keeping us dry with high temperatures in the middle 50s.

Christmas Eve: A dry day as clouds increase from the west. It will be warmer with highs in the lower 60s. Clouds will move into Central Alabama on Christmas Eve night as Santa arrives. It will be chilly with lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Christmas Day: Wednesday will be cloudy and mild with scattered showers as an upper-level wave moves across the Southeast U.S. This will not be the nicest Christmas across Alabama with rain. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
Thursday & Friday: Thursday will be a relatively dry day with plenty of clouds as high pressure sends another dry wedge of air into Alabama. It will stay mild with highs in the lower to middle 60s.
Another upper-level wave will move across Central Alabama on Friday bringing us another round of scattered showers with highs in the 60s.

Weekend Outlook: The weather pattern will continue to be active into the weekend. Showers and a few storms possible over the weekend with highs in the mid 60s. There could be a few storms at times through the weekend. We'll keep an eye on this weekend system to see if a severe threat develops with it.
