
Weekend Outlook: The blast of colder air continues this weekend across Alabama. Saturday will be mostly sunny and breezy as high pressure builds into the Deep South. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 40s but will feel like the 30s with the wind.


Saturday night will be clear and cold with lows in the low to middle 20s. Sunday will be sunny and chilly with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.


Christmas Week Outlook: Monday will be sunny and milder with highs in the 50s. Christmas Eve will become partly cloudy and warmer with highs in the lower 60s. An upper-level wave will move across Alabama on Christmas Day. This will set off scattered showers and storms starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day. It will be mild with highs in the 60s.


The mild weather pattern will continue on Thursday with highs in the 60s and a few showers. Friday stays mild with some rain as an upper-level wave moves over Alabama. Highs will be in the 60s. Next weekend could have scattered storms; some could be strong.
