BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Birmingham Police Department issued a critical missing person alert for a 40-year-old man Monday.
According to the BPD, 40-year-old Gerard Johns has unusually not reported to work recently. Family members reported they have not seen or heard from Johns, who lives and works in the Crestwood community. Police believe Johns is endangered.
Johns has brown eyes and black hair. He is 5-foot-8 and weighs around 175 pounds. Those with information on Johns' whereabouts are urged to call the BPD at 205-328-9311 or 911.
