BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WIAT) - The Sidewalk Film Festival's full lineup was announced Friday, building anticipation for the 26th annual event.
The festival will take place from Aug, 19 through 25, with the opening night events set for Aug. 23. The festival will be held in downtown Birmingham's historic theatre district.
During the weekend, over 200 films will be featured on the silver screen with over 60 countries represented.
On Aug. 23, the festival will open with "Exhibiting Forgiveness," directed by Titus Kaphar. The film stars Alabama native André Holland. The festival will close on Aug. 25 with "Missing from Fire Trail Road," directed by Sabrina Van Tassel.
