Wednesday, Ford Motor Company presented its “25th Anniversary” plaque to its Town & Country store in Bessemer.
The oldest Birmingham Metro Ford dealership still in operation, Town & Country Ford has been proud to be a part of the Bessemer community since 1999 and looks forward to continuing as an economic pillar of the community.
Expressing the deep gratitude felt not only by him, but his associates, co-founder and -owner of Town & Country Ford, Steve Watts, thanked the Bessemer community for supporting and uplifting the business throughout the years.
“We had a dream, and you all [the Bessemer community] have been a huge part of making that dream a reality,” said Watts. “Thank you so very much.”
With spirits high and stomachs full– thanks to Birmingham staple, SAW’s BBQ– a good time was had by all in attendance, and those at Town & Country Ford are looking forward to another 25 years and beyond in Bessemer and in their Pell City location, opened in 2009.
