BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The City of Birmingham, along with Jimmie Hale Mission, is opening up a warming station from Friday night through Sunday morning.
According to the city, the station at the Jimmie Hale Mission will be opening from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. as temperatures are expected to fall below freezing. Food will be provided.
A station for women and children only will be provided at Pathways. Anyone in need of transportation to the Jimmie Hale Mission can be picked up at Brother Bryan Park, Faith Chapel Care Center, Linn Park, Firehouse Ministries and Boutwell Auditorium.
