MARION COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A 71-year-old man who was pushing a bicycle was fatally hit in Marion County on Monday evening, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Haleyville resident Eddie Taylor, who was pushing the bicycle, was thrown into a guardrail after a vehicle hit him. The crash happened on Marion County 85 near Kilpatrick Dairy Road around 5:40 p.m.
Taylor died at the scene. The vehicle fled the area, and ALEA troopers have not identified the vehicle or who was driving it when the crash happened. Those with information on the crash are urged to call ALEA troopers at 256-383-9212.
