Weekend: Clouds along with periods of showers arrive this weekend. While a soaking, widespread rain is not expected, plan on the possibility for a passing shower or downpour both days. Otherwise, temperatures remain warmer than normal with highs in the 70s and morning lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.


Football Saturday: Brief, spotty showers are likely for both UAB and Samford games with kickoff temperatures in the middle to upper 70s.

For Alabama at LSU, periods of rain along with a few storms will move across Southern Louisiana throughout the evening. Fortunately, severe weather is not expected.

Veterans Day: Intervals of sun and clouds along with a few lingering showers. Highs hold in the 70s with slightly lower humidity levels.
Next Week: Turning noticeably cooler for the second half of the week. Afternoon highs dip to near average levels, in the upper 60s to near 70s, and chilly mornings as lows dip to the 40s by Friday.

Tracking the Tropics: Rafael heas weakened to a tropical storm in The Central Gulf of Mexico. Rafael will continue to drift west then farther south over the coming days without any significant impacts along the Gulf Coast.
